CDS Exam

CDS or Combined Defence Services Examinations has been a exclusive platform to get an opportunity to serve mother nation with reputed service in defence. CDS exams has been conducted to get placed in different defence academies such as Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Air Force Academy and Indian Navy Academy. Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 17^th February, 2013 for admission to the under mentioned courses:-

Eligibility Criteria –

Nationality – Indian

Age Limit –

IMA – Born between 2^nd January 1990 to 1^st January 1995

INA – Born between 2^nd January 1992 to 1^st January 1995

AFA – Born between 2^nd January 1991 to 1^st January 1995

OTA – Born between 2^nd January 1989 to 1^st January 1995

Educational Qualification –

IMA – Graduation from a recognized university

OTA – Graduation from a recognized university

INA – Degree in Engineering

AFA – Any Degree from recognized university with Physics & Maths in 10+2 or a Degree in Engineering

Application Fees – Rs. 200/- (excepting SC/ ST/ Female)

How To Apply-

Candidates are required to visit UPSC website and fill up Part 1. After that take a print of Fee Challan/ Receipt  and deposit the fee with it at the nearest branch of SBI or SBI Associate banks. After that fill up the Part 2 along with the transaction number on fee receipt and scanned Photograph and Signature.
