SBI or State Bank of India is biggest nationalized bank in India in both assets and business. SBI has the largest networking of banking services to the almost each and every district of India. SBI has announced the application for the recruitment of 1500 Probationary Officers in its branches in all over India.

Educational Qualification –
Candidate must have a degree of Graduation in any stream from a recognized University or Institution of Central Government

Age Limit –
As on 01-01-2013, 21 years to 30 years

Pay Scale & Probation Period –
Rs. 14500-25700 (Rs. 16900)
2 Years of Probation Period

Selection Procedure –
Written Examination – It consist of two parts Objective (200 Marks) and Descriptive (50 Marks). Objective section having 200 questions of 4 sections with time limit of 2 hours. Descriptive section consist of long answer such as letter writing or essay writing with time limit of 1 hour.
GD/PI – 4500 Candidates shortlisted from Written exam will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Final Selection – 1500 or last 4500 candidates will be finally called off for final joining.

How To Apply –
Initially candidates are required visit the website of SBI recruitment section and Apply Online with their personal details. After the submission of online form, candidates have the option of Fee payment through ONLINE or OFFLINE mode.

ONLINE Mode – For Online mode candidate are required to have Debit or Credit card to make the payment online. With the payment, registration will be completed.

OFFLINE Mode – For Offline mode candidate are required to take a print of challan form after the submission of application form. Candidates can deposit the fee at any branch of SBI nearby from the second day of online application and within 3 working days.
